The centerpiece of the score to John Huddle's film was a guitar piece that Ross [Rufus Sewell] plays for the assembled cast in the film. Once that piece was in place, the emotional tone and thematic center of the score was set. The bucolic, country setting was a natural fit for Appalachian fiddle and zither.
