Jeff Danna: Music for Films

I looked forward to the opportunity to do another film score for Troy Duffy's Boondock Saints, because I love the combination of sounds that the brothers inspire. Choral music, Celtic music, and heavy electronics is the musical cocktail for the Macmanus brothers. Troy also asked me for a sound that was theme-driven, old-world Italian for the many flashbacks to the early days of Billy Connolly's 'Poppa Macmanus'. I used an Italian fiddle, accordion and crotales to carry us back to Noah's younger years.
